Life is a journey and every individual works very hard to make this journey a pleasant one. Some make it successful, some struggle with it and some keep it simple. Every individual journey in this world is a story of self, passion and compassion.

Who don’t want a perfect life? EVERYONE — correct? But many must think why it is not same for everyone? The answer lies a word called “KARMAS” — both past and present. Your future has already been written by the supreme power based on your past KARMAS even before you came in this world. More on it later…

Ones life journey depends on many factors but primarily the GOAL one want to achieve. The goal is different for every individual, some what to become Engineers, Doctors, Pilots, Businessman/BusinessWoman etc., but very few realise that to be HAPPY is the actual goal of life.

When a person is actually HAPPY — when he/she do what he/she is willing to do, what he /she actually enjoys to do, when they follow their passion — it can be anything. So the real question is ARE WE HAPPY?

I am not a spiritual guru, neither I am highly acclaimed renowned personality, I am just a common person like you all, trying to collate and distribute my understanding of life. Having said that let us start the journey of self…

The KARMAS

What are KARMAS? Karmas in simple meaning are the actions taken by you in past and present for which you get good or bad results in current or future births. To elaborate, as it has been rightly said by Gautam Buddha — When a bird is alive, It eat Ants, but when it is dead, ant eats the bird.

You have to bear the fruits of your both past and present karmas in a birth, so try never to hurt anybody, try never to ditch anyone, as one day it will come back to you only. So the question arises, how you know how much past karmas as you can control the present ones.

Answer is — no body knows. Past Karmas are just like a nail in the table, which you are trying to pull out but you are not aware how deep it is in the table. The amount of nail which is outside, is the quantity of Karmas you have already paid off — good or bad.

How to determine if my Karmas are good or bad?

Consider a situation that you met with very fatal accident but you survive, that means your good karmas came in to save you, but if a poacher trying to trap an animal, attacked by another animal and he dies, it is an example of a bad karma.

If good karmas are so important in ones life, it is an important question, how we can accumulate good or bad karmas?

How to accumulate karmas?

Whenever you do good deeds like helping needy people, do social service, serve water to a thirsty being — all these are examples of good karmas and you get +1 mark for it. On the contrary, if you hurt other beings, steal things, murder someone etc. you are doing bad karmas and you get +1 mark under bad karmas.

So eventually, the supreme power keeps a close eye on your actions performed in a life and based on that you accumulates Good and Bad karma points. These karma points are divided and act during specific times in our current lifecycle.

Karma’s Effect:

Karma’s comes into effect as soon as you land in this world. You must have noticed, some children come in this world as pre-mature, some come fine but they get seriously ill after that, but some remain healthy. Why this happens?

Answer to this lies in Astrology. It is being said that, till the age of 12years every child faces good and bad karmas of his/her mother, father and self. The bifurcation goes like:

0–4 years — child faces Good/bad karmas of mother

5–8 years — child faces Good/bad karmas of father

9–12 years — child faces Good/bad karmas of self

It is only after 12years, all the actions done by him in this birth are being recorded for which he has to pay either in this birth or future birth.

As an another example, you must have seem some ladies does not bear child even after many years but when they adopt a child they become bear a child. Why it happens? It is because the lady must have done something bad in her previous life (may be hurt / treated somebody’s child very badly that almighty gave a punishment to her in her this life). When she adopts (i.e. someone’s child) she actually pays for her bad deeds in the past life, and when her penance ends, she bears the child.

There are numerous examples which can prove the effects of good and bad karmas on ones life.

If KARMAs are so impactful in ones life then what is the right way to live life?

Stay tuned for more…
